Ruth Ann Wilson

Ruth Ann Wilson peacefully passed away March 7, 2022 in Urbana, IL. She was born February 1, 1940 in Urbana, the daughter of Russell and Ruby (Laroe) Harmon. Ruth Ann married the love of her life, Clifford E. Wilson June 8, 1957. She worked at Burnham Hospital for many years followed by becoming a neighborhood and family babysitter out of her home. Throughout her lifetime Ruth Ann always did have a soft spot for convertible cars after owning a couple herself, she enjoyed just tooling around town. She was a big fan of classic country music, a regular for quite some time at local opry shows. When she wasn’t out and about she was completely content enjoying a classic Hallmark program at home. Ruth Ann was all about family gatherings and cookouts but there never needed to be a special occasion for her to enjoy her favorite dinner out, a trip to the Ribeye. In her later years she found and renewed love of camping again. She loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Eugene. Surviving is her son- Jeffery (Cathy) of Mahomet; 3 grandchildren, Nichole O'Neill, Wesley Bissell and Daniel Wilson; one sister, Janet Manning; three brothers Cecil, Paul Wayne, and Russell Harmon Jr.; and many nieces and nephews. Along with all of her family, she leaves behind a very special neighbor, Nancy.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, Illinois 61802.Burial at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview, Illinois. Condolences may be sent to www.renner-wikoffchapel.com
