Louis H. Simpson III of Urbana, age 68 passed on March 4, 2023. He was born July 31, 1954 to Louis H. Simpson Jr. and Frances L. Simpson at Forbes Air Force Base, Topeka, Kansas. Lou was married to Trina on April 29, 1983, she survives. Also surviving are brother Jeffery L. Simpson (Brenda) of Florida and Frances E. Georgiades (Mark) of upstate New York. Lou was preceded in death by his parents, sister Leslie, sister Deborah and brother John. Lou operated Simpson Accounting Services for over 30 years and is thankful to the hundreds of clients he served over the years. He was also appreciative of the many friends he acquired in Champaign-Urbana. Lou was a charter member of the C-U Sunrise Rotary Club and held every officer position at one time or another. There will be no official services performed, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
