Shelly, I have known you nearly 50 years. In all that time you have been a pillar of strength for both your mom and your sister. Your dedication to your mother and her care during this terribly difficult time has been amazing. You were wonderful. You did all you could. Our hearts break for you.

My sincerest condolences to you, Shelly. I speak for myself and others who worked with Barb and Susan who asked me to pass along their deepest sympathies to you in your loss. Barb was an absolutely amazing woman. I so enjoyed listening to her stories of Urbana in its earlier days, of you and Susan as you grew up, of her love for her sheltie, and so much more. I feel honored and privileged to have been a part of some very deeply personal experiences in serving your family though social work, and it has had such a great impact on who I am today.

Susan and Barb are together again at last. May peace be with you all.
