Wilma” Willie” (Ford) Twaranovica March 22, 1931- June 5, 2023
Died on June 5th at age 92. A native of Council Bluffs, IA she resided in Urbana for 60 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Joseph “Joe” Twaranovica, twin brother, and
three elder sisters. She is survived by her children, Ann-Marie (Twaranovica) [John] Dittmann of
Urbana, Ford [Sandy Oehmke] Twaranovica of Urbana, Anton “Tony” [Tricia Wilms]
Twaranovica of DeLand, FL; four grandchildren; Eugenia Robinson, Alexander Dittmann,
William Dittmann and Stone Twaranovica, and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to being a devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother she had a career as a RN
specializing in psychiatric and hospice nursing and enjoyed league bowling.
A memorial service and interment of ashes will take place at a later date.
