Bill Sanford passed peacefully Sunday morning, February 18 at Carle Hospital.

Visitation is at Webber Street Christian Church, 107 S. Webber St., Urbana on Tuesday, February 20 from 12pm-130pm, with a celebration of life service at 130pm.

Bill was a painter at the University of Illinois until he retired at 62 but then continued to paint until he was 89. He spent his life loving and serving the Lord, and is a member of CU Church.

He is in glory with his beloved wife Frannie. He is survived by children Susan Estergard, Kathy Mullen (Mark), Hank Sanford (Marla), Tricia Walker (Glenn), and Joanie Rankin (Darren); as well as 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
