William Carpenter, 100 of Champaign, passed away Sunday September 10, 2023 at home.

He is survived by his son, Mark Carpenter of Naples, Florida.

William was a self employed carpenter and a supervisor at the University of Illinois. He served in the Army during WWII and received a Bronze Star from General Patten

Graveside Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday September 20 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign with military rites..
