Valerie Gadbury, 73, passed away Friday May 16, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.  She was born at Hotel -Dieu, New Orleans, LA, September 10, 1951  Hotel-Dieu translates to "House of God" in French-a hospital. The Daughters of Charity opened Hotel Dieu in 1859.  She was one of 7 brothers and sisters, born to Leo Mac and Helen Arnett.

Valerie had 3 children, Khristian, Katia and Kieran us well as 9 grandchildren.  She leaves behind her husband, Robin, children and many friends.

Valerie loved God and belonged to the local Congregation of Jehovah’s Witness.
