Terry Lynn (Reisner) Gravely

Terry Lynn (Reisner)Gravely of Homer, 68, passed away Monday March 23, 2020  1:15pm at Carle Hospital Urbana, Illinois.

Terry was born the daughter of Joseph and Zona Shaffer of St. Joseph on May 16, 1951 in St. Joseph,Il. She Graduated   St. Joseph High school in 1969  got married and moved to Urbana, Il, stayed in Urbana till she moved to Homer with her Daughter in 2017.

Terry is survived by her 3 children, Bobby Gravely, Shawn(Niki) Gravely of Urbana and Betzy Gravely of Homer,Il. 7 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.  7 sisters , Sandy(Bob) Kiest of Angier, NC, Darlene(Richard) Tester, Foosland,il,  Rita(Jim) Griffin Homer,il , Sharon(Dennis) Fiscus St. Joe,il,  Mary(Terry) Crider St. Joe,il,  Debbie(Joe) Frailey Odessa,TX,  Dawn(Gale) May Bellflower,il, 

3 Brothers  Joseph(Karla) Shaffer St. Joseph,il,  Jeff Shaffer Urbana, il, Mike(Kathy)Reisner Mahomet, il.

Terry was preceded in death by her parents and brother JP Shaffer, Urbana.

Terry was a member of Curtis Road Church of God, Savoy. She worked at the University of Illinios until she retired in 2012.

Terry loved sewing and made Christmas stockings for soldiers, hats, blankets and scarves for local nurseries. Made peanut brittle every year for a church fundraiser.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Curtis Road Church of God.

Funeral will be at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, Urbana. Friday March 27th  1:00pm.  Due to the Corona virus, Funeral service will be a private family service at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana.  We are attentively planning  to have a memorial service May 16,2020 at Curtis Road Church God.
