Sharon Rose Reinhold, 80, of Urbana, passed away at 10:33 pm on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. Sharon was born September 7, 1943, in Urbana, to William and Rose (Hren) Reinhold.  She is survived by her brother, Richard (Betty) Reinhold of Urbana, and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings; Katherine (Entler), Frederick, Walter, Edward, Robert, and Gene. Sharon was a member of DAR and DAC.  She enjoyed bowling in leagues in her younger years, traveling, and was active in church activities. She graduated from Urbana High School and Cosmetology School and worked for over 20 years as a secretary for the Urbana-Champaign Sanitary District before retiring. Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 28th at 11:30 am in the chapel at the Mount Hope Mausoleum, 611 E Pennsylvania Av, Champaign, IL, with Pastor Lutz Braunig officiating.Memorial donations may be made to the Champaign County Humane Society.
