URBANA, IL-  Robert Paul Mason, 93, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 9:30 AM, Friday, April 26, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Gibson City, IL.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.  Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL is assisting the family with arrangements. 

Robert was born July 4, 1930 in Paris, IL, a son of Homer and Thelma (Daughtery) Mason.  He graduated from Paris High School and served in the United States Army.  He married Alma “Jean” Wood on December 7, 1952 in Ridge Farm, IL and she survives.  Also surviving are four children, Dennis Mason of Leander, TX, Randall Mason of Merida, Mexico, Richard Mason of Urbana, IL and Lori O’Brien of St. Joseph, IL.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and a brother, James Mason of Tampa, Fla. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, David.

Robert was a self-employed handyman and was a member of Grace Community Church in Tilton, Illinois.
