Richard E. Rohr, 89, of Shelbyville, IL formerly of
Champaign passed away at 2:05 p.m. on April 5, 2025 at OSF Heart of St.
Mary, Urbana, IL.
He was born on September 18, 1935 in St. Marie, IL the
son of Agustus & Teresa (Hipp)Rohr. He married Karolee
Neupert on August 6, 1976 in Urbana, IL.
Richard is survived by his wife; children- Susan
(Dave)Williams of Mahomet, Mike (Deb)Rohr of
Shelbyville, Jeff (Chris)Rohr of Shelbyville, Lori (Louis)
Luksander of Mahomet, Torie (Dan) Strole of Champaign
and Stacy Nicholson of Tower Hill, IL; 14 Grandchildren;
17 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded by his parents, siblings-James Rohr, June
Guiffre, and Shirley Rohr
Richard was a member of UA Local 149 Plumbers &
Pipefitters. He enjoyed woodworking, Country & Western
dancing, boating, and camping. After Richard retired he
owned his own small business known as the “The Prop
Doc” to clients and friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 1-3:00 PM on
Saturday, May 24, 2025 at UA Local 149 Plumbers &
Pipefitters, 1003 N. Dunlap Ave., Savoy, IL. Memorials
