Richard Allen Cribbett of Urbana, Illinois passed away at home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, late in the evening. He was 71 years old.     

He was born on August 10, 1952 to the proud parents of Irene Grace (Mathias) Cribbett, and George Edward Cribbett. 

He was the 4th of 5 boys. 

He graduated from Rantoul Township High School in 1970 

He is preceded in death by his parents, his 3 older brothers Thomas, Raymond, and Dennis. And his younger daughter Cristy.

He is survived by his wife Cynthia (Voss) Cribbett of Urbana. His older daughter Teressa Cribbett of Champaign. His younger brother Randy Cribbett of Forrest. His 2 granddaughters Lexie Cribbett of Champaign and Mari Cribbett at home. Along with lots of nieces and nephews.

He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching Illini basketball and Illinois football. He enjoyed watching his favorite NFL team Green Bay Packers. 

He enjoyed watching NASCAR and Golf. 

He also enjoyed watching the Hallmark channel and HGTV. 

His favorite travel spot was in Jamaica with his wife Cindy Cribbett. 

The visitation will be held at 

Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, from 3-5PM, Friday, October 13, 2023.
