Obituary

Randy E. York, 57 of Hoopeston passed away July 1, 2023 at home. He was born October 18, 1965 in Champaign, the son of James “Mac” and Hazel (Grice) York.

He is survived by his son and daughters, Joshua, Tiffany, Dakota and Melanie, a brother, Donny York (Patty) and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Brittney, sisters, Patti and Mae, a brother, James and his parents.

Randy attended Urbana schools and worked at a service station in Rantoul. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hunting.

He will be missed by his family and friends.
