SIDNEY, IL- Phyllis Lorraine Orcutt, 78, of Sidney, passed away at 5:20 PM, Sunday, February 18, 2024 at her residence. There will be no services at this time.  Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, IL, is assisting the family with arrangements. Phyllis was born on February 11, 1946 in Paxton, IL, a daughter of Kenneth and Evelyn(Smith) Busey.  She married Gerald Orcutt on May 10, 1975.   He preceded her in death.   Survivors include a daughter, Jaime Porter of Sidney, IL and a son, Michael Hilderbrandt of Mahomet, IL.  Also surviving are a sister, Jean Wilson of Rantoul, IL, a brother, Norman Busey of Victorville, California, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Phyllis retired from Illinois Power where she worked as an operating clerk for many years.
