Norma Fay Wilkey, 76, of Urbana passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Monday, August 5 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville, Il.
She was born in Champaign, IL on July 11, 1948 the daughter of Glenn & Betty (Cafin) Zook. On February 8, 1969 in Urbana she married Joseph Wilkey.
Norma is survived by her husband- Joseph: children- Joanie ( Keith) Williams of Danville, IL, Richie Decker of Rantoul, IL, Jamey Wilkey of Urbana, IL; 2 Grandsons -Vance Michael Wilkey and Ryan Keith (Krisha)Williams; 2 Granddaughters-Tiffany Freeman, Calahan Decker; 3 Great Grandsons- Tyson Wilkey and Vance Michael Wilkey Jr, Gavin Keith Williams; siblings- Charlotte (Bill) Schroeder of Thomasboro, John Fredrick (Tina) Zook of Fithian, Dena Day of Sadorus, Gary Alton Zook, Beverley Iris ( fiancé Gary) Andres of Indiana, Genelle Elaine Zook and Kevin Rex (Stephanie) Zook. ; sister in law- Laurel Pittman Zook; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded by her parents, brother Lyndon Keith Zook; sister- Darlene Strange; daughter in law- Lynette Decker.
Norma worked as a receptionist for Christie Clinic Occupational Health Care for 22 years.
She enjoyed crochet, playing Bingo and video gaming slots.
Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, IL 61802. Mom was casual so come as you are & feel comfortable. Memorial Contributions may be made to Donor’s choice. Condolences may be made to www.renner-wikoffchapel.com.
