Mayra's departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of her family and friends, as they grieve the loss of a remarkable woman. Mayra was a beacon of love, compassion, and kindness to all who knew her. Her warm smile and gentle spirit brightened the lives of those around her, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. She had a special way of making people feel valued and cherished, and her genuine care and concern for others knew no bounds. Mayra touched the lives of many through her active involvement in the community. Her dedication to Meadowbrook Community Church, where she and her family worshipped, was unwavering. She found solace and strength in her faith, and she shared that faith with others through her selfless acts of service. Mayra's love and devotion to her family were truly remarkable. As a wife, mother, daughter, and sister, she poured her heart into nurturing and supporting her loved ones. Her unwavering love created a safe and loving home, where her family flourished. Mayra's children were the light of her life, and she took great joy in witnessing their accomplishments and milestones. In her professional life, Mayra was a shining example of excellence as a school teacher. A memorial service to celebrate Mayra's life will be held on June 20th at 4:00 pm at Meadowbrook Community Church, located at 1902 South Duncan Road, Champaign, Illinois 61822. All who knew and loved Mayra are invited to attend, as we come together to honor her memory and find solace in each other's presence. In honor of Mayra's selfless nature and her desire to make a difference in the world, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to your favorite charity.
