Marvin E. Andres, 69, of Urbana passed away at 9:31 a.m. on May 20, 2023 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana. He was born on May 31, 1953 in Urbana, Illinois the son of Frank & Carolyn (Carrothers) Andres. He married Dim Pakdeenok on January 3, 1975 in Thailand. Marvin is survived by his wife- Dim; daughter- Klu-one Birge; grandchildren- Paige Andres-Mittman, Darin Birge, Kole Birge, Livia Birge & Ty Birge; sisters- Cindy Ruschmann and Kathy Loden both of Thomasboro. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother- Carl Andres; and son- Mark Andres. Marvin graduated from Urbana High School in 1971. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force, retiring from active duty in January, 1992. He then retired from Champaign Unit 4 Schools. Private family service was held.
