Marjorie Letot was born October 19, 1930, at Burnham Hospital in Champaign, Illinois, to Orville and Mable (McFall) McDaniel.  She was preceded in death by her husband Julian (Lee) Letot, her brother Kenneth McDaniel, and her daughter Cynthia Ann Letot. Marjorie received her training in nursing at Burnham Hospital (1951) and worked at Busher Clinic for 5 years and Burnham Hospital for 2 years.  Then she moved to Greenbrier Nursing Home where she was the Director of Nursing for 16 years and finished her nursing career at Champaign County Nursing home for 14 years, the last 8 years as the Director of Nursing.  She retired in 1993 after a total of 37 years in the healthcare/nursing field.  Marjorie was a ticket holder and a longtime fan of the University of Illinois basketball team. Marjorie passed away December 19, 2023, at Accolade Nursing Home in Paxton, Illinois.  Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.  Funeral arrangements are pending and will be for immediate family and close friends.
