Mack Allen Self

Mack Allen Self passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 at the age of 84.

Mack attended schools in Mansfield and Urbana.

He was a hairstylist in Urbana and Champaign over 50 years.

Mack was born in Urbana on July 18, 1941 to Lucy E. and Mack O. Self.

Mack is survived by his wife of 25 years Jane, 

Daughters Denise Colwell (Billy Ray), Sabra Ross (Billy) and son Mack O. Self, 

Grandchildren Tony Scyrkels, Michelle McCoy, Heather Johnson, and Journey Self

 9 Great Grandchildren, sister Lucinda Collins, and brother Jeff Burgin (Rhonda),  nieces Kimberly Nigg (Roy) and Stacy Orcutt, sister in law Connie Loschen (Rod)

as well as many nieces and nephews.

Mack was preceded in death by his father, mother, grandson Trenton Self and brother in law Dennis Collins.

Mack never failed to say "I love ya" and give you a big hug

He loved life.  He loved his family and friends, he loved to dance ride his 

motorcycle and he loved chocolate!
