Leland Collins, Jr.

Leland Collins, Jr. 62 of Philo passed away at home on January 26, 2024.  He was born November 8, 1961, in Urbana, the son of Clarance Leland “Peewee” and Nancy (Anderson) Collins.  He is survived by; daughter, Melissa Brown; son Nathan Collins; son Aryn Gilenson; son Trace (Shana) Collins; stepson Neiko Gaines; stepdaughter Angelina Gaines; stepdaughter Jessa Gaines and their mother Karla Gaines. Grandchildren Caleb, Kingston, Bentley, Luca, Aralyn and Norah. 

Leland was an amazing father, friend, pastor and brother in Christ. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, and spending time with those he loved.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held Saturday at Restoration Church, 1213 Parkland Ct., Champaign. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Ervin Williams and Bruce Swartz will officiate.

Condolences may be made to the family, in care of Trace Collins, for the benefit of expenses and may be sent to Renner-Wikoff Chapel to forward to his family.
