Lakshmi Hanumanthappa Obituary

 

 

Lakshmamma (“Lakshmi”) Hanumanthappa, born May 20, 1979, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri, as a result of complications from liver failure.
Lakshmi is survived by her son, Ravi Neblett, her fiancee, Sonnie Dean, her adoptive mother, Cesaria Lancaster, and her siblings Miriam, Owen, Jude, Aaron, Anumaka, Raji and Mutu, and their children.
Lakshmi graduated from Taylor University with a degree in communications. She spent the last few years caring for the elderly at Clark Lindsay Village in Urbana, Illinois.
Lakshmi was preceded in death by her adoptive father, F.W. (“Wilf”) Lancaster, her biological parents Hanumanthappa and Yellama, her ex-husband Chris Neblett and her brothers Sunilkumar and Ravichandran.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Rd., Urbana, Illinois 61802, on January 10, 2025 at 1:00 p.m Visitation from 12-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial at Clements Cemtery.. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 North 3rd Street Philadelphia, PA 19123 or at www.donors1.org/give.
