Kristy D. Bastian, 45, of Champaign passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her home. She was born in Champaign, Illinois on September 19, 1976 the daughter of Grover and Eileen(Schoonover)King. She married Gerald Eugene Bastian on October 20, 2007. Kristy is survived by her parents, husband; stepdaughter-Mallorie Lynn Pall Bastian; brothers- Ben(Sylvia)King of Seymour, Mike King of Melrose, Illinois; sister- Leslie King of Doniphan, Missouri; nephew- Cory Steenrod of Arkansas. She is preceded by her grandparents. Kristy was a member of ASPCA and WCIA viewers club. She was a Chicago Bears fan and she also enjoyed trips to Six Flags/Great America with her husband, Gerald. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18 at 12:00 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, Il. 61802. Visitation will be from 11:00- 12:00. Hank Sanford will be officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19 at Medsker Cemetery, Melrose, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Family of Kristy Bastian.
