URBANA, IL-  Kathy Jo Hamilton, 67, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 11, at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana with burial at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Mayview.  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10, from 5-7PM at the funeral home.  

Kathy was born January 18, 1958 in Urbana, the daughter of Cecil and Betty(Miller) Nickelson.  Survivors include a daughter, Carrie Wilson(Chris) of Pesotum, IL and a son, Brian Hamilton of Urbana.  Also surviving is a granddaughter, Claire Wilson, a sister, Connie Kirby(Kenny) of St. Joseph, and two nieces, Kaitlyn Brucker and Korynn Bensyl.

Kathy graduated from Urbana High School and was a receptionist for Carle Foundation Hospital for many years.  She attended Webber Street Church years ago and was a member of the Urbana Seniors.  She loved to travel and spend time with her family, especially her granddaughter.
