Edna “Irene” Bollman passed away on Saturday, February 22,
2025 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL
surrounded by her family.
Irene was born September 11, 1936 in Chaney’s Grove, Il the
daughter of John Harlan & Nellie (Fourthman) Davis. She
married Neal Bollman on April 21 st , 1962, in Urbana, IL.
She is survived by her husband- Neal; sons- Brian (Dianne)
Bollman of Savoy, IL, Brad Bollman of Philo, IL; 7
Grandchildren and a sister-Leota Green of Huntsville, Al.
Irene is preceded in death by her parents and 9 siblings.
She was a member of Philo Presbyterian Church and American
Legion Auxiliary Post 71. Irene enjoyed spending time with her
family, word games, puzzles, and gardening. She was a big fan
of the Fighting Illini and the St. Louis Cardinals.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 on March 8 th ,
2025, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana,
Illinois, 61802.With a visitation/reception at 10:00, prior to the
service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the
American Red Cross or Salvation Army.
