Florida Eudora Mabry, 97 of Champaign passed away Wednesday December 27, 2023 at Country Health and Rehab, Gifford.  Eudora was born March 9, 1926 at Taylorville, the daughter of  Pastor Arthur and Florida (Nickolas) Followell. 

She married Frank Mabry May 23, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts and he precedes her in death.  She is survived by her daughters, Paulette Slade (Gary) of Champaign, Jeannie (Danny) Everette of Shallowater, Texas and Joan Fox of Kingman, Indiana.  Also survived by three grandchildren, Vickie Slade, Michael Everette and Angela Aldridge. Seven great grandchildren, Candice Acree, Ashley Acree, Dusten Burke, Brysen Acree, Zachery Burke, Kayden Everette and Keylee Everette. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and son-in-law, Ted Fox.

Eudora was a member of the Nazarene Church.  She enjoyed being with her family, cooking, decorating cakes, sewing and crafts.  She made 100 throw pillows and donated them to the Crisis Nursery in Urbana and the Children’s Hospital in Springfield.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday January 4, 2024 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 Philo Rd., Urbana. Pastor David Allison will officiate.  Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday January 3 at the funeral home.
