Elaine Mullvain Obituary

Elaine M. Mullvain passed away at 3:30 p.m. on September 18, 2023 at Carle Foundation, Urbana.  A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 noon at Renner-Wikoff Chapel on Friday, September 22, 2023. Pastor Gary Romoser will be officiating. Visitation will be one hour before funeral. Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery. Per her wishes cremation will be honored. Elaine was born on August 31, 1941 in Bloomington, Illinois, the daughter of Lyle & Dorothy Woliung Gill. She married Paul Mullvain on January 20th 1958 in Farmer City. He died May 8th 2000. Surviving are three sons- Rick (Carol) Mullvain, Gary ( Deanna) Mullvain of Urbana and Tony (Kim) Mullvain of Mansfield; daughter Cheryl Britton of Urbana; one sister- Lois Oleson of Macon, GA; 16 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Gill, father Lyle Gill, husband Paul and brother Ed Gill.. Elaine enjoyed watching the cubs play, making scrapbooks, reading, and crocheting. She loved to sit around the campfire. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family. She always made sure to make everyone feel welcomed and that they were family.
