Doris Marie Roush

Doris Marie Roush, 91, of Urbana passed away at 4:30 a.m. on May 13, 2023 at Kirby Medical Center in Monticello, Illinois. Memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, Illinois with a reception 1 hour prior to service. Casey Taylor will be officiating. Doris was born in Homer, Illinois on October 14, 1931 the daughter of Hood & Maude (Hixenbaugh) Ingram. She married James Robert Roush on June 13, 1953 in Homer, Illinois. James passed away May 25, 2017. Doris is survived by her daughter- Jann Marie Meyer(D.J) of Defiance, Mo; daughter/niece- Connie R. Ingram of Urbana: Grandchildren- Jessi Hosmon (Brian), Brent  Meyer(Amara); Great Grandchildren- Arianna Meyer, Chloe Hosmon, James Meyer; nephew- Tim Ingram of Homer; niece Vicky Kesler of Urbana. She is preceded by her parents, husband, James and brother- Jewel Ingram, sister in law- Reva Ingram. Doris graduated from Homer High School. She owned Roush Estate Sales for over 35 years. Doris was a member of Quest: A Community of Grace Church in Urbana.
Doris enjoyed primitive antiques her whole life loved collecting them and going to shows with her dear friends.  She could be seen outside working on furniture in the driveway even at 90 years old She loved to decorate and collect.
