Donald G. Plotner, 87, of Champaign passed away at 11:25 a.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Bement Health Care. He was born on September 8, 1936 in Mansfield, Illinois the son of Lyman & Evelyn (Roth) Plotner. Don married Sharon Simmons on August 4, 1957 in Champaign. Donald is survived by his wife, Sharon and daughter, Dena (Tim) Mumm. Don & his wife owned the business D&D Flooring Installation and installed flooring for over 45 years in the Champaign area. He was also a member of Grace Church of the Nazarene in Champaign and enjoyed gardening and building beautiful things for his home.
