Just a short remembrance from myself and my brother Michael for our wonderful uncle. I’ll always remember a man who enjoyed life, who was always full of fun and laughter, almost always a smile on his face, a happy outlook that only deepened with the raising of his family. His love for Mary and their love for one another was clear to the world. And perhaps what always struck me most was his broader love of family. In my few visits with him as an adult, I could see the pride he took in his kids, and the quiet but powerful caring that just seemed to radiate out from him. He seemed first and foremost a man dedicated to his family, the rock of the Parsons clan. I think he was a great man and I’ll always be proud that he was my uncle.
