Betty A. Vaughn, 87 of Savoy passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at her home. She was born on February 26, 1936 in Potomac, IL the daughter of Charles & Mildred (Villars) Hoshauer. Betty is survived by a son- Richard (Julie) Vaughn of Rantoul; daughters- Cherri (Les) Reeley of Elkhart, IL and Vicki (Dan) Becker of
Richmond, KY; grandchildren- Scott Reeley, Hallie Reeley, Amanda Frields, Nicole Wirfs. She is preceded in death by her parents and was the last surviving of 12siblings. Betty worked as a baker for Jefferson Middle School until her retirement in May 30, 2010. Betty enjoyed crafting with beads, watching sports and baking. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday March 4, 2024 at Grandview Memorial Gardens, 4112 W Bloomington Road, Champaign, IL 61822. Pastor Dan Dewitt will be officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 Philo Road, Urbana, IL 61802. Condolences may be sent to www.reener-wikoffchapel.com
