Anna Marie Stout, 80, of Urbana passed away at 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at her home.

She was born on February 6, 1945, in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of James & Margarite (Dreggers) Wilhite. She married Larry Stout on May 3, 1964, in Trenton, GA.

Anna is survived by daughter Sandra Trettner of Atlantic City, NJ, two sons; Ralph (Patti Scheibel) Stout of Chicago and Timothy (Cindy) Stout of Plainfield, IN; daughter-in-law Robin Stout of Urbana, IL, plus 8 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents, husband Larry, and son Jamie Stout.

Anna worked as a bus driver for the public school system and was a parking attendant for the University of Illinois for 25 years until her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening and hummingbirds. She also enjoyed Disney, family gatherings, watching NASCAR, going on cruises and traveling. Her greatest enjoyment though was spending time with her grandchildren and family. Anna is going to be missed.

Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana. Cremation rites will be accorded, and burial will take place at Eastlawn Burial Park at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Anna’s family.
