Allie I. Roberson, 60, of Urbana passed away at 3:39 a.m. on Friday, June 30, 2023 at her home. She was born on November 29, 1962 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Mae (York) Black. Allie married Michaul Roberson on June 2011. Allie is survived by her daughter- Alisha (Brandon) Schmidgall of St. Louis, MO; significant other- Len Knee; brothers- Don Black & Derrick (Becki) Black both of Villa Grove, IL, Fred (Mary) Black of New Mexico, Matthew (Bonnie) Black of Champaign, IL: sisters- Patty Black & Mary (George) Cunningham both of Urbana, IL; fur babies- Beau Regard & Spirit. She is preceded by her Maternal grandparents, Mother, husband- Michaul and brother- Stacey Black.Allie graduated from Urbana High School in 1980. She worked as a cashier at Meijer in Urbana, IL. She enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with her daughter, Alisha.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 11-2:00 p.m. at the Lake House at Crystal Lake Park, 206 W. Park, Urbana, IL 61801.Snacks and refreshments will be provided. Celebration to continue at Toro Loco, Allies favorite restaurant, for drinks and stories after park services approximately at 2:30 p.m. ( Toro Loco, 1601 N Cunningham Ave, Urbana, IL 61802) Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with unexpected expenses.
