Adreanna Brown, 87 of Bloomington, IN, formerly of Urbana/Champaign, IL passed away at home on December 12, 2024.  She was born February 28, 1937, in Jacksonville, IL, the daughter of Adrian James and Anna Lou (Davis) Decker.

Adreanna married John Thomas Brown on February 20, 1954, and he survives.  She is also survived by 4 children – John Brown, Theresa Senese, Juliana Maguire and Thomas Brown; as well as 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, a daughter, Sabrina and a son Sherman. 

Adreanna attended High School in both Urbana and Champaign.

Adreanna and her husband have owned a business, Gifts of Taste by Adreanne since 1988 in which they sell specialty baked goods.

Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 noon, Thursday December 19 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 405 W. Clark St., Champaign, IL with visitation at 11:00 a.m. at the church.  Father Joseph Baker will officiate.  The burial will immediately follow the mass where Adreanna will be laid to rest in Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana.  There will a reception at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 Philo Rd., Urbana.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Holy Cross Catholic Church.
