Yvonne F. "Bonnie" Welch, 89 of Champaign, passed peacefully at 9:42 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Heartland Healthcare Center in Champaign. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 13 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana with visitation from noon to service time. Pastor Robert Rasmus will officiate. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign.

Bonnie was born July 16, 1923 in McLean, the daughter of Walter and Marie M. (Richardson) Bialeschki, step-daughter of Betty Bialeschki. She married Marvin Welch on January 1, 1942. She is survived by a daughter, Carole Sauro of Zephyrhills, FL, a sister, Jean Richardson (Stan) of Neoga, three grandchildren, Mindy Bates (John) of Texas, Lena Fuson (Gary) of Michigan and Dennis Sauro (Catherine) of Kansas. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Jennifer, Jamie and Makayla and one great-great grandchild, Caden. She is preceded in death by parents and step-mother, husband, Marvin, two brothers, Charles & Ora Bialeschki and great grandchild, Jeffrey.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mel & Liz Schwartz, Greta Henry and Terry & Debra Bialeschki for their loving help.

Bonnie worked several years at Aunt Sonya's in Champaign until their closing. She enjoyed Word Search games and going to Taffie's. Bonnie loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed greatly by her family and everyone who knew her. She leaves behind a big void in the lives of all who knew her and loved her. May she rest in peace.
