Wilma "Muchie" Cooper-Mathews, 64, of Ludlow died 8:36 A.M. Friday, September 21, 2007 at Provena Covenant Medical Center.

Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 25, at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory 1900 S. Philo Rd. Urbana. Pastor Woolridge and Pastor Deters will officiate. Burial will be in Deland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Wilma Mathews was born March 24, 1943 in Champaign, a daughter of Eli and Pauline Stibner Cooper. She married Carl Mathews April 20, 1964 in Champaign. He survives.

She is survived by seven children Penny Grice of Ludlow, Carol Revell of Ludlow, Paula Richardson of OH, Lisa Howell of FL, William(Eli) Mathews of Rantoul, Deputy Sheriff Arnold Mathews of Dewey, John Grice of Ludlow; fourteen brothers and sisters Ruth Boley of Urbana, Alfred Cooper of Champaign, Wilbur Cooper(twin brother) of Monticello, Mike Cooper of Sullivan, Ike Cooper of KY, Clyde Cooper of MI, Freddie Cooper of MI, Ronnie Cooper of MI, Ricky Cooper of Germany, Sonya Cooper of Germany, Cheryl Cooper of Germany, Erica Cooper of Germany, Albert Cooper of Germany, Penny Southwell of NY; twenty-eight grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and a great grandchild.
