Willie J. Russell 68 of Savoy died at 8:01 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Presence Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Burial will be help at Woodlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Russell was born October 5, 1946 in Lawndale, North Carolina, the son of Roosevelt and Addie Mae Waller Russell.

Survivors include one sister; Anne (Walter) Russell Ferguson of Peoria, two brothers; James R. (Doris) Russell and Roosevelt (Essie) Russell both of Champaign, a host of Nieces and Nephews and his dog Snuffie.

He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.

Mr. Russell attended Central High School in Champaign.

He retired from Kraft Foods in Champaign.

Mr. Russell was a member of Grove Street Church of God in Christ, Champaign and enjoyed fellowship at Urban Ministries.
