William Eugene Ward 60, of Urbana died at 7:47 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at home.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana, Jim Kelly officiating. Visitation will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ward was born on October 21, 1946 in Paris, IL, the son of Earl Eugene and Matilda Mae Parker Ward; he married Donna James on February 14, 1986 in Urbana she survives.

Also surviving are one son; Christopher William Ward of Champaign, one brother; David (Judy) Ward of Spokane, Washington and one sister; Rosalind (Michael) Buttita.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ronald Ward.

Mr. Ward was a lineman with Illinois Power Company in Danville; he also worked as a lineman with L.E. Meyer in Decatur and was an electrician with the Urbana Public Works Dept.

He was a member of the I.B.E.W. local #608, an avid golfer and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.
