URBANA, IL- William B. McIntyre, 96, of Urbana, IL, passed away at 11:55 A.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 6, 2013 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana, IL, with burial following at Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 5-7P.M., Friday evening at the funeral home.

Mr. McIntyre was born July 8, 1916 in Urbana, IL, a son of Curtis A. and Bessie Pearl (Price) McIntyre. He married Shirley June Roberson on July 13, 1938 in Covington, Indiana. She preceded him in death on February 13, 1986. Survivors include a daughter, Sherilyn Butler of Rantoul, IL, 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sons, Jack and Gene, and seven siblings.

Mr. McIntyre was a janitor's foreman at the University of Illinois for 30 years. He was a member of the Philo Road Church of Christ and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
