Waneta L. McDaniel passed away peacefully on November 17, 2017, at Eastview Terrace in Sullivan, Illinois.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 South Philo Road, Urbana, Illinois. Pastor Brent Roberson will officiate.

Waneta was born April 29, 1931 in Sidney, Illinois to Oscar and Mabel Kleinmeyer Frick. She graduated from Longview Township High School. She raised her children in Mahomet and then was a long time resident of Round Barn Manor in Champaign.

For much of her life, Waneta was an active member of her home church Sangamon Valley Christian Center in Mahomet.
