Wanda R. Wilder 89 of Urbana died at 8:17 p.m. Friday, December 25, 2015 at home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elmwood; Pastor Michael Wilder will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana.

Mrs. Wilder was born on May 11, 1926 in Bonanza, Arkansas, the daughter of Earl Franklin and Gladys Suggs Phillips. She married Benjamin Earl Wilder on March 6, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he survives.

Also surviving are four children; Nancy Paulette Wilson of New Lenox, Scherrie LaVon Sanchez of Joliet, Michael Benjamin Wilder of Urbana and Dawn Michelle Wilder of Urbana, one sister; Nelda Maebelle Steele of Fort Smith, Arkansas, ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Mrs. Wilder was a member of Birchwood Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school for forty years.
