URBANA, IL- Wanda Dale Kilgore, 77, of Urbana, died at 1:40 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2006 at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, October 13, 2006 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel & Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana. Rev. Glenn Corbly will officiate. Burial will be held at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 6-8PM, Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kilgore was born December 4, 1928 at Homer, IL, the daughter of Roosevelt Hoffman and Margaret Fear Danner. She married Paul J. Kilgore on June 26, 1949 at Ogden, IL. He preceded her in death on February 23, 2001.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: Paul Daniel Kilgore of Portland, Oregon, William Dale Kilgore of Urbana, IL and John Delbert Kilgore of Rossmoor, CA. 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. 1 Sister: Mary Margaret Dedlow of Gainesville, Fla.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 1 brother.

Mrs. Kilgore graduated from Ogden High School in 1946 and graduated from the Barry Castle Business College in Champaign in 1947. Mrs. Kilgore retired from Urbana School District #116 Office in 1991 after 21 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star Hope Chapter, Champaign County Chapter of Educational Office Personnel, National Association of Education Office Professionals and she was a Den Mother and Den Mother Coach for the Cub Scouts.
