Virginia Ruth Tatman, 82, of Urbana passed away at 7:36 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2017 at Champaign County Nursing Home in Urbana.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Champaign. Rev. Richard McGuire will officiate.

Virginia was born on June 27, 1934 in Seymour, IL to parents Roy and Hannah Grindley. They preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was her daughter Ann Tatman.

She is survived by her daughters; Shelly Clennon (Mike) of Philo, Lori Pope (Justin) of Mt. Pulaski and Karen Moore (Shawn) of St. Joseph. Nine grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren also survive her.

Virginia was a graduate of Seymour High School and worked at Concord Custom Cleaners for over twenty years before retiring.
