Virginia Mae O'Neil 84, of Urbana died at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the home of her granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Major John Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. O'Neil was born on October 2, 1922 in Kell, IL, the daughter of Chester and Jewel K. Cook Hill. She married James O'Neil and he died in 1996.

Survivors include one son; William Prough of Colorado, three sisters; Alice Mobley, Florence Hill both of Urbana and Ruby Manley of Lynn Haven, Florida, ten grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and twenty seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six children, one granddaughter and three brothers.

Mrs. O'Neil was a retired cook at the Lincoln Lodge in Urbana.

She was a member of the Salvation Army.
