Virginia Fern McCall, 90, of Urbana. died at 4:25 p.m., Friday, June 19, at Farmer City Rehabilitation & Health Care Center.

A Memorial Mass will be held July 3, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Urbana. Father Joseph Hogan will officiate. Visitation will be held at the church on July 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Mahomet. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. McCall was born December 24, 1918 in Chrisman, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence and Donna (Seybold) Gilkey. She married James D. McCall May 2, 1980 at Mt. Vernon. He preceded her in death June 15, 1983. She is survived by a daughter, Sheryl Goodman of Staunton; a son, Kenneth Vahrenhold of Florissant, MO; eight grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

Mrs. McCall attended Chrisman Schools and worked in the Contract Postal Station in Sunnycrest Mall and at True Value Hardware in Urbana. Memorials can be made to Farmer City Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Condolences may be offered at renner-wikoffchapel.com.
