Violet M. Clymer, 90, of Urbana died at 4:11 a.m., Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Violet Clymer was born March 14, 1921 in Bryan, Ohio a daughter of Owen and Alta Penrod Bradford. She married Francis Clymer August 13, 1940. He preceded her in death in 2002.

She is survived by a son, Bradford (Julia) Clymer of Mahomet; a daughter, Mary Pooler of Plant City, FL; a sister, Claire Booth of Hillsdale, MI; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Two sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Clymer was a member of the Audubon Society, and enjoyed gardening, sewing, and quilting.
