Vickie Arnold, 65, of Thomasboro, passed away at 1:55 A.M. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Carle Foundation Hospital.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel in Urbana.

Vickie was born in Urbana on May 3, 1950 to parents George and Glenna (Freeman) Hewkin. On November 12, 1976 she married Richard Arnold. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Glenna Hewkin of Urbana, daughter Michelle Arnold of St. Joseph, son Roger Arnold of Clarksville, TN., eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her father, George Hewkin and one grandson.

Vickie was a graduate of Urbana High School, a daycare employee for over ten years and a member of First Baptist Church in Urbana. She loved animals, decorating, cooking, fishing in Homer Lake, but most of all she loved spoiling her grand kids. She is going to be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
