Vena F. Rexroat of Champaign died at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the C-U Rehab Center, Savoy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rexroat was born on February 27, 1910 in Olney, the daughter of Willie F. and Eva Schick Provine. She married John W. Rexroat on November 15, 1928 in Olney; he died on August 7, 1994.

Survivors include two daughters; Dolores M. Wisegarver of Farmer City and Carolyn M. Dodd of Homer, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, two sisters and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Rexroat was Methodist.

She was a member of the Eagles, Farm Bureau, school board, an election judge, a seamstress; she did a lot of volunteer work and received a letter from the President for her volunteer work and also for her 100th birthday.
