Vance G. Stamm 57, of Urbana died at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at Carle Foundation Hosptial, Urbana.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, Urbana. The Rev. Glenn Corbley will officiate. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Stamm was born on June 4, 1950 in Fairbury, Illinois the son of Alfred and Alberta Enghausen Stamm. He married Carol Hall on September 28, 1968 in Urbana, she survives.

Also surviving are his mother of Urbana, two sons; Keith Stamm of Rantoul and Kevin Stamm of Urbana,, a daughter; Kelly Webb of Tennyson, Indiana, one brother; Marty Stamm of Champaign, two sisters; Lynn losee of Omaha, Nebraska and Gloria Stamm of Urbana and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and one brother.

Mr. Stamm was a self employed in small engine repair.
