Trena Jo Chaney, 63 of Savoy, formerly of Harrisburg, died at 7:50 p.m. on October 12, 2010. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 18 at Sunset Lawn Cemetery, Harrisburg. There will be no visitation. Renner-Wikoff Chapel, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Chaney was born April 2, 1947, the daughter of Wayne and Lorene (Martin) Kerr. She is survived by her sons, Eric Chaney (Sara) of Savoy and Erin Chaney (Beth) of Ft. Wayne, IN; grandchildren, Madison, Justin and Jessica Chaney of Savoy and Andrew, Hannah and Caleb Chaney of Ft. Wayne, IN; mother, Lorene Jones of Eldorado. She is preceded in death by her father and a brother, Phillip Wayne Kerr.

Ms. Chaney graduated from Harrisburg High School and received a BS at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. She attended Fall Creek Baptist Church in Indianapolis, IN and enjoyed sewing and crafts.
