Tracy Lynn Philbeck, 50, of Urbana passed away at 4:22 p.m., Sunday, September 30, 2012 in the company of her loving family at Carle Foundation Hospital. A visitation will be held Thursday, October 4, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Renner-Wikoff Chapel and Crematory, 1900 S. Philo Rd., Urbana.

Mrs. Philbeck was born January 22, 1962 in Urbana, Illinois to parents Thomas and Juanita (Cramer) Hawkins. She married Kenneth Philbeck November 6, 1982 in Urbana; he survives.

Also surviving are five daughters; Casey Philbeck (Justin Helm), of Farmer City, Katy Philbeck (Nate Huff), of Urbana, Kerry Cantrell (Dylan), of Urbana, Kimberly Philbeck (Alexander Hucke), of Urbana, Kelsey Philbeck, of Urbana, three brothers; Thomas Hawkins, Jr., of Alabama, Robert Hawkins, of Danville, Tim Hawkins, of Urbana, one granddaughter; Madison Helm, and several nieces and nephews. Tracy was preceded in death by her father.

For many years, Tracy was a stylist at Sherry's Shear Hair Designs in Champaign, and Charly's Sunnycrest Salon in Urbana. She later became a Planning Assistant for Nelson Beck, of Ameriprise Financial for more than 20 years. She had recently begun work at Cobalt Digital.

Tracy enjoyed many things in life, but she received the most joy from raising strong, independent daughters. She loved her family dearly and always put them first.
